- Sunday, 9 August 2026: End of session; students vacate hostels.

- Monday, 31 August – Monday, 7 September 2026: Departmental boards meet to consider and release provisional results.
- Monday, 7 – Monday, 14 September 2026: Faculty boards of studies review results.
- Monday, 14 – Friday, 18 September 2026: Business committee of senate meets to consider results.
- Monday, 21 September 2026: Senate meeting to approve final year results and commence online registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Resumption Tips For All UNIBEN Students
To ensure a smooth resumption at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), here are some important steps and tips you can follow:-
- All students must come prepared with essential documents for a successful resumption. These include the Admission Letter, School ID, Payment Receipts, O’level Certificates, Birth Certificate/Declaration, and Recent Passport Photograph.
- New and returning students should check the UNIBEN school fee schedule for the session. It is crucial to plan early and pay the correct amount on time to avoid any issues.
