How to Pay Miva Open University Tuition Fees

If you have been enrolled in any of the programs above, follow the instructions below and pay your fees:-

  • Once you have been admitted or you are returning for a new session, log in to your SIS dashboard with your student details.
  • Miva allows you to pick how you would like to pay:-
  • Monthly
  • Per Semester
  • Per Academic Session (Full Year)
  • After selecting your preferred option, follow the steps provided on the SIS to pay using your debit/credit card or other available methods.
  • If you are paying via bank transfer or cheque, send your payment details to Miva for confirmation. It may take up to 3 working days to verify your payment.

 Payment Options Available

Monthly Payment Plan (Powered by Edubanc)

  • You pay small amounts monthly.
  • Youopt out within 24 hours if you change your mind.
  • If you miss a payment, you get a 10-day grace period to pay without penalty.
  • After 24 hours, you’re committed to this plan for the whole semester.

Semesterly Payment Plan

  • You pay the full semester fee at once, or
  • Start with a small deposit to secure your spot.
  • You must complete the payment before re-exams, or you won’t be able to take them.
  • Once you start this plan, you must complete it—even if you don’t take exams.

Annual (Full Session) Payment Plan

  • You pay for the full academic year at once.
  • Best if you want to settle all fees at once and avoid repeated payments.
  • Secure payment via the Miva Payment Gateway.

 Important Things to Know

  • Once your tuition expires, you lose access to the online learning system until payment is renewed.
  •  If you are paying online (e.g., with Paystack), note that transaction fees will be added. These are not part of the tuition.
  •  If you’re outside Nigeria, all fees must be paid in US Dollars.
  • Misrepresenting your location is not allowed and will attract additional charges or withdrawal.
  • Early-bird discounts are only for students who complete full payments before the application deadline.
