OOU Admission Requirements 2025/2026

All those who are interested in any of the courses mentioned above can apply for admission through direct entry or UTME provided they meet the requirements listed below.

UTME Admission Requirements

  • You must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
  • The subjects must be relevant to your chosen course of study.
  • You need to meet the specific cut-off mark for your chosen course as determined by OOU.
  • Ensure you choose OOU as your first choice in the UTME.
  • You are required to participate in OOU’s post-UTME screening exercise and score above the minimum mark set by the university.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

  • You must have a minimum of two (2) A’Level passes in relevant subjects.
  • Holders of ND, NCE, HND, or equivalent qualifications with at least a Merit or Upper Credit can also apply.
  • You must also have five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in subjects relevant to your intended course, obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form and select OOU as your first-choice institution.
  • For HND/ND/NCE applicants, your academic transcript must be sent to OOU as part of the application process.
