Nigerian Army University Admission Requirements

All candidates who are interested in admission are expected to meet the requirements outlined below based on the mode of entry.

Candidates must select the Nigerian Army University as their first choice institution during JAMB registration. Those who initially chose a different institution must apply for a change of institution via JAMB before they can be considered.
All candidates must have participated in the JAMB UTME and achieved a minimum score of 180 or above. However, different departments may have varying cut-off marks, so applicants should verify that they meet the cut-off for their chosen course.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. Acceptable O’Level exams include WAEC, NECO, and GCE.
Candidates who are awaiting their O’Level results can apply but must upload their results to the JAMB portal as soon as they receive them to avoid disqualification.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

If you are applying for Direct Entry (DE) admission into the Nigerian Army University, you must meet specific requirements beyond the regular UTME route. Below are the key requirements you need to know:-

All Direct Entry applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
In addition to the required O’Level results, candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) with at least a Lower Credit, a Higher National Diploma (HND) for advanced entry, an NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education) with a Merit in relevant subjects, or an IJMB certificate with a minimum of 6 points in relevant subjects.
