Pan African University Admission Requirements For UTME and Direct Entry Candidates
If you have confirmed that you meet the cut-off mark for admission, also confirm that you meet the requirements set for UTME and Direct Entry candidates. Only candidates who meet these requirements will be eligible for admission.
- Candidates must ensure that while registering for JAMB, they choose PAU as their first choice of institution. Those who did not will be required to apply for a change of institution before applying for admission.
- A minimum score of 220 in the 2025/2026 UTME examination.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credits in their O’Level results, including Mathematics and English Language. These grades must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must be 16 years or older by October 2025 (the beginning of the academic session).
- Candidates must meet the subject requirements for their chosen course of study.
- Candidates must apply through the PAU admission portal at apply.pau.edu.ng.
Direct Entry Candidates
For candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry, the following qualifications are required:
Advanced Level/OND/HND/NCE Qualifications
- Two (2) Advanced Level passes in relevant Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
- An OND or HND with a credit in a relevant discipline.
- NCE (National Certificate in Education) with a merit in a relevant field.
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in relevant subjects.
In addition to these, candidates must also have O’level credits in five relevant subjects including mathematics and English. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
