Admission Requirements For Tai Solarin University of Education

All candidates who wish to apply for admission must ensure that they meet these requirements alongside the cut-off mark.

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in O’ Level (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics and three other relevant subjects related to the chosen course.
  • Candidates must have sat for the JAMB UTME examination and scored at least the minimum cut-off mark set by TASUED.
  • Candidates must have selected TASUED as their first choice during JAMB registration.
  • All candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

Direct Entry 

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) O’ Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Must possess one of the following qualifications:-
  • NCE (National Certificate in Education) with at least Merit in two major subjects.
  • OND (Ordinary National Diploma) with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution.
  • Advanced Level (A’ Level) GCE with at least two passes in relevant subjects.
  • Direct Entry candidates must also apply through the JAMB Direct Entry Form and select TASUED as their preferred institution.
