This is to notify all prospective students of Summit University that the official cut-off marks for admission into the 2024/2025 academic session have been released. The university management has set the minimum UTME score that all candidates must attain to be considered for admission. If you are interested in studying any of the courses offered at Summit University, you must ensure that your UTME score meets or exceeds the Summit University cut-off mark for admission.
The Summit University cut-off mark is an important requirement for admission. Alongside your O’Level results, it determines your eligibility to apply for admission. If you want to know the UTME score needed to qualify for the Summit University admission process, this article provides all the details you need.
What Is Summit University Cut-Off Mark 2024/2025?
The cut-off mark refers to the minimum score required for admission into a university or a specific course. It serves as a benchmark that helps universities select candidates for admission. JAMB sets a general minimum score that universities must follow, but each institution is allowed to set its cut-off mark as long as it does not go below the standard set by JAMB.
For the 2024/2025 academic session, Summit University has set the general cut-off mark at 150. This means that all candidates who score 150 or above in the UTME are eligible to apply for admission and purchase the Summit University Post-UTME form.
However, meeting the general cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission. Some courses, especially competitive programs, may have higher cut-off marks due to high demand. Programs in fields like Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, and Business often require higher scores. To improve your chances of admission into these competitive courses, it is advisable to aim for a score well above 150.
