Osun State University Admission Requirements 2024/2025

Getting admission into Osun State University (UNIOSUN) for the 2024/2025 academic session can be done through two modes: UTME or Direct Entry. Whichever path you choose, you must meet the specific requirements for that mode to qualify for admission into your desired course. Below are the detailed requirements for each mode of entry:

UTME

• Candidates must score at least 160 in the JAMB UTME, as this is the minimum cut-off mark for most courses. However, some competitive courses like Law, Medicine, and Nursing may require higher scores (e.g., 200 and above).
• Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings. The other three subjects depend on the course you are applying for.
• UNIOSUN must be selected as the candidate’s first choice during JAMB registration.
• Candidates who chose the university as their second choice may need to change it to the first choice.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

Direct Entry Candidates

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:-

• A minimum of two A-level passes in relevant subjects.
• ND (National Diploma), NCE (National Certificate of Education), or HND (Higher National Diploma) with at least an Upper Credit in a relevant field.
• A JUPEB Certificate with a minimum of five points in relevant subjects.
• As with UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.
