OGITECH ND Admission Requirements (Full-Time and Part-Time)
To gain admission into the National Diploma (ND) program at Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) for the 2024/2025 academic session, candidates must meet the following requirements:-
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE O’ Level in subjects related to their chosen course. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings. English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for all courses. The other required subjects will depend on the specific program the candidate wants to study.
- Candidates applying for Full-Time ND programs must have written the UTME (JAMB exam) and scored at least the minimum cut-off mark set by OGITECH.
- If OGITECH was not chosen as the first choice during JAMB registration, candidates must apply for a change of institution on the JAMB portal before proceeding with the admission process.
After meeting the JAMB requirements, candidates must take part in the OGITECH Post-UTME screening. This screening involves:

OGITECH HND Admission Requirements (Full-Time and Part-Time)
These are the requirements you must meet to be eligible for admission:-
- Candidates must have completed a National Diploma (ND) program in a relevant field from OGITECH or any other recognized polytechnic in Nigeria.
- They must have obtained a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA 2.50 and above) in their ND program.
- Graduates with a Pass (CGPA 2.00 – 2.49) must have at least two (2) years of post-ND industrial training experience to be considered.
- Candidates must provide evidence of one (1) year Industrial Training (IT) experience after completing their ND program.
- Candidates with a Pass in ND must provide evidence of two (2) years of Industrial Training experience.
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or GCE O’ Level in subjects relevant to the chosen HND course. These credit passes must be obtained in not more than two sittings. English Language and Mathematics are compulsory subjects for all courses.
Required Documents for HND Admission
Applicants must provide the following documents during the screening process:-
- Original ND Result or Statement of Result (showing CGPA and classification).
- O’ Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) Certificate or Statement of Result.
- One-Year Industrial Training (IT) Completion Letter.
- Certificate of Origin (Proof of State of Origin).
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration.
- Academic Transcript from ND Institution (must be sent directly to OGITECH by the applicant’s previous school).
- Letter of Attestation (to be addressed to the Registrar of OGITECH).
