OAUSTECH Cut-Off Mark For Admission 

The cut-off mark is the first requirement you need to meet to indicate your eligibility for admission at OAUSTECH. It is a minimum score set by the university management for all applicants to meet to be qualified for admission.

The cut-off mark for admission into OAUSTECH is 150. This means that all interested candidates who have this score or more will be able to access the admission form and apply for admission. This score does not apply to all departments though, you are advised to check the OAUSTECH cut-off marks for all courses and ensure that you meet the exact one for your preferred course.

OAUSTECH Admission Requirements For UTME and Direct Entry Candidates 

The admission process at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) offers two distinct modes of entry: UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) and Direct Entry. UTME candidates are those seeking admission through the UTME exam conducted by JAMB and Direct Entry Candidates are candidates with higher qualifications, such as a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or a first degree. They do not need to sit for UTME but must meet the entry requirements for their chosen course. Depending on your mode of entry, ensure you meet the requirements listed below:-

  1. Candidates must choose OAUSTECH as their first choice institution when registering for the JAMB examinations.
  2. Candidates must meet or exceed the OAUSTECH cut-off mark for their chosen course. This cut-off mark varies per course.
  3.  Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings of WASSCE, NECO, or its equivalent.
  4. Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of applying.

Direct Entry Candidates

  1. Direct Entry candidates must possess either a National Diploma (ND), a Higher National Diploma (HND), or a first degree from a recognized institution. The minimum qualification required depends on the course the candidate intends to study.
  2. Just like UTME candidates, Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings of WASSCE, NECO, or an equivalent.
  3. Direct Entry candidates will also go through a screening process to verify their eligibility and the documents submitted as part of the admission process.
