How Much is FUTO Postgraduate Admission Form For 2024/2025?

The management of the Federal University of Technology Owerri through the School of Postgraduate wishes to announce that the form for all postgraduate programs is out. The FUTO postgraduate form costs Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000). You can access the form at futo.edu.ng.

One of the most important things you need to do before you apply for the form is to check if the course you want to take at the postgraduate level is available. You also need to check if you meet the requirements for the said program. Once you are satisfied that you meet these requirements, you can then apply for the form.

Admission Requirements For Postgraduate Studies at FUTO 2024/2025

Go through this list and confirm the admission requirements for the postgraduate program you want to apply for:-

Master’s Programme 

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division from FUTO or any recognized institution in the relevant field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from other recognized universities.
• An HND with a Lower Credit grade, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma (at Upper Credit level) in the corresponding field.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) 

• A recognized first-degree in a related discipline.
• A Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit grade or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• Certain professional qualifications, such as ACA, AIB, ACCA, or ACIS, may be accepted, particularly for the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science.

Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.)

• For the M. Phil. in the specified field, a strong M. Tech. Degree or its equivalent in the relevant area is required.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

• A Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline with a CGPA of 3.50 or higher and/or a minimum average score of 60%.

How To Apply For FUTO Postgraduate Admission 2024/2025

To apply for postgraduate admission at FUTO, follow these steps:-

1. Visit the official FUTO website at futo.edu.ng.
2. Find and select the PG Application Form.
3. Click on the link to generate your PG Application Invoice.
4. Enter your personal email address and sign in.
5. Print the invoice containing your RRR number (Remita Retrieval Reference).
6. Pay the application fee of N20,000 either at a bank or via ATM card.
7. After payment, return to the PG Application Form section and click on Fill PG Application Form.
8. Enter your email again to proceed with the application.
9. Complete the online form carefully, ensuring that you provide a valid referee email address. A link for the referee to complete their form will be sent.
10. Once you finish, print the Acknowledgement Slip. A copy will also be sent to your email.
11. Finally, submit the printed Acknowledgment Slip along with your credentials to the Deputy Registrar/Secretary at the Postgraduate School, FUTO, Imo State, Nigeria.

Please note that only candidates who submit their academic transcripts will be considered for admission. Endeavor to apply for your preferred PG program at FUTO before it is too late.
