Eligibility Criteria For FUOYE Postgraduate Admission 2025/2026

Ph.D. Degree Program
- To qualify for the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program, applicants must have completed a Master’s degree with at least a 60% cumulative score.
- The program requires a minimum of three academic sessions and can extend up to five sessions. During this period, students must complete all required coursework and undertake a supervised research thesis, which will be assessed by a panel of examiners before graduation.
M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree Program
- This program is designed for candidates whose Master’s degree performance falls between 55% and 59.99% (Cumulative Weighted Average – CWA).
- Students admitted into this track will initially be enrolled in an M.Phil program but have the opportunity to transition to a full Ph.D. program if they achieve an aggregate score of at least 60% within their first academic session.
Master’s Degree Program
- Applicants seeking admission into the Master’s degree program must have obtained at least a Second Class (Lower Division) in their undergraduate degree.
- The program is structured to last a minimum of 18 calendar months and a maximum of two years for full-time students.
