Modibbo Adama University Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025
The management of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has officially announced the 2024/2025 postgraduate admission process for interested candidates. Prospective students can now apply for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s, and Doctorate (PhD) programs in various disciplines. The Modibbo Adama University Postgraduate form costs Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) and is available online.

Entry Requirements For MAU Postgraduate Admission 2024/2025
All those who are interested in this program should ensure that they meet the admission requirements set by the school management. The requirements are as follows:-
General Admission Requirements
- Candidates must have at least five relevant subjects passed at credit level, including English Language and Mathematics.
Specific Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:-
- Hold a Third-Class degree in a relevant field from MAUTECH or any recognized university.
- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit (minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale) in a related discipline.
- Have other professional qualifications that are deemed acceptable by the School of Postgraduate Studies and the University Senate.
- In special cases, candidates who do not meet the above requirements may be considered if they pass additional tests or examinations determined by the department or school.
Master’s Degree (MSc, MA, MEng, etc.)
To qualify for a Master’s program, candidates must meet one of the following conditions:-
- Hold a Second-Class Honours degree in a relevant field from MAUTECH.
- Possess an equivalent qualification from another recognized university.
- Candidates with a Third-Class degree or HND with Lower Credit (CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale) may still be considered if:
- They have completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with at least Lower Credit (CGPA of 3.50).
- They pass any qualifying examination required for admission.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
To apply for a PhD program, candidates must:-
- Hold a Master’s Degree from MAUTECH with at least a CGPA of 3.50 (on a 5-point scale) or 60% and above.
- Have an equivalent Master’s qualification from another recognized university.
How to Apply for Modibbo Adama University Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025
All those who have confirmed that they meet the admission requirements for their preferred course can apply using the steps provided below:-
- Go to the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) admission portal via pgmau.admissions.cloud.
- Register by providing a valid email address or phone number. This will be used to communicate with you regarding your application in the future.
- Use the registered email or phone number to purchase an application PIN for ₦15,000.
- Log in to your account and complete the application form for your preferred program. Carefully review all details and ensure accuracy before submission.
- After applying, print two copies for record purposes.
- Applicants must submit their academic documents in duplicate to the address provided by SPGS.
- Candidates should fill out the online Transcript Request Form and send it to their previous institutions. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that their former institution forwards their transcript, along with the completed request form, directly to:
