How to Pay NMU School Fees Online

These are the simple steps you can follow to pay your school fees smoothly through the school’s payment portal. Follow them carefully to ensure your payment is successful and properly recorded.

  1. Visit the Nigeria Maritime University official website at www.nmu.edu.ng.
  2. Click on the Payment or Student Portal section.
  3. Log in with your Matric Number or JAMB Registration Number if you are a new student.
  4. Select School Fees from the list of available payment options.
  5. Choose your correct Faculty, Programme, and Level so the right fee amount will appear.
  6. Confirm that the amount displayed matches the approved school fees schedule.
  7. Click the Pay Now button to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
  8. Copy or download your RRR for easy access.
  9. Choose your preferred payment method, Online Payment or Bank Payment.
  10. If you choose online payment, follow the prompt to pay using your ATM card (MasterCard, Verve, or Visa).
  11. If you choose bank payment, take your RRR to any commercial bank and pay over the counter.
  12. After payment, return to the NMU portal to confirm and validate your payment.
  13. Print your Payment Receipt and keep it safe because you will need it for clearance and registration.
