UNILAG Part-Time Admission Requirements 2024/2025

All candidates who are interested in applying for admission to study part-time at the University of Lagos must ensure they meet the requirements listed below:-

  • Applicants must hold a Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), or National Certificate in Education (NCE) in related fields. For this category, only candidates with an HND at least at the Upper Credit level will be considered for admission at an advanced entry level.
  • Additionally, individuals possessing recognized professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, ACIA, ACIS, or ACIB may also be considered for admission at an advanced level, provided they have achieved at least five credits in WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level) or its equivalent. These must include English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, along with any other two subjects, all achieved in not more than two sittings.
  • Lastly, candidates with WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level) or equivalent certificates, holding credits in five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and Economics, along with any other two subjects, achieved in not more than two sittings, are also eligible.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 or older by the time of applying for admission.
