LASU Course Registration Guidelines [2024/2025]

LASU Course Registration Requirements and Guidelines

Lagos State University (LASU) management has announced the start of online course registration for all full-time undergraduate students for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. This applies to both freshers and returning students.

If you are a Lagos State University (LASU) student, knowing how to properly register your courses is just as important as attending lectures and writing exams. The university has a structured course registration process that must be followed each academic session.

Registering your courses means you’re officially recognized as a student for that semester. Without it, you can’t attend lectures, write exams, or access important academic resources on the university portal.

This post will walk you through the LASU course registration requirements and step-by-step guidelines for the 2024/2025 academic session.

What You Must Do

To complete your course registration, all students are expected to:-

  • Pay at least 70% of school fees (Stream 1) or 50% (Stream 2)
  • Register your courses online
  • Add or delete courses where necessary (Course Operations)
  • Print your Course Registration Form and Examination Slip
  • Submit your form to your Head of Department (HOD) for endorsement

Note: A late registration portal may be activated for students who do not complete registration on time. If this happens, a ₦5,000 late registration fee will be charged. All students are advised to complete their school fees payment and course registration as soon as possible to avoid this penalty.
