  • Candidates must select Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) as their first-choice institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • They must ensure that they score 150 or higher to be eligible.
  • Applicants for courses such as Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmaceutical Sciences must have a minimum score of 200.

Direct Entry

  • Candidates with at least two A-level passes in subjects relevant to their chosen course of study are eligible to apply. Accepted A’Level certifications include GCE, IJMB, or Cambridge.
  • Individuals holding a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution may also apply. The diploma must be in a related field, with a minimum of an Upper Credit. However, some courses may consider Lower Credit holders.
  • Applicants with a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from an accredited college of education, with at least a Merit pass, are qualified to apply for related courses.
  • Those who have completed the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) program and obtained passes in relevant subjects are eligible for Direct Entry admission into the 200-level of their desired course.

How To Apply For COOU Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

  • Open your browser and go to the official Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) portal at http://portal.coou.edu.ng.
  • Once on the homepage, scroll down until you see the section labeled ‘Undergraduates.’
  • Click on the option that says ‘Generate Post UTME Invoice.’
  • On the next page, input your JAMB Registration Number in the provided field.
  • After entering your JAMB Registration Number, click the ‘Submit’ button. This will create your payment invoice.
  • Take the generated invoice to any bank to make the payment. Alternatively, you can use your ATM card to pay online directly through the portal.
  • After completing the payment, go back to http://portal.coou.edu.ng.
  • Scroll down again to the ‘Undergraduates’ section and click on ‘Fill Post UTME Application Form.’
  • Re-enter your JAMB Registration Number and click the ‘Login’ button. You’ll be directed to the application form, where you need to fill in all the required details accurately.
  • After completing the form, click the ‘Submit’ button. Finally, ensure you print your application slip as proof of registration.
