Now that you have learned the JAMB Score you need to meet for your department, let’s look at the aggregate score, what it is, and how you can calculate it using very simple steps.

How to Calculate YABATECH Aggregate Score

An aggregate score is the total score obtained by combining different components of a candidate’s performance in exams like JAMB and post-UTME. It is used by institutions to determine eligibility for admission. Follow these simple steps to calculate your YABATECH aggregate score:-

  1. Record your JAMB score.
  2. Divide your JAMB score by 8.
  3. Take your YABATECH Post-UTME score and divide it by 2.
  4. Add the results from steps 2 and 3 to get your aggregate score.

Example Calculation:-

Let’s say you scored 240 in JAMB and 60 in the post-UTME.

  1. JAMB Score: Divide 240 by 8 = 30.
  2. Post-UTME Score: Divide 60 by 2 = 30.
  3. Aggregate Score: Add 30 + 30 = 60.

Therefore, your aggregate score would be 60.
