Wellspring University Undergraduate Admission Requirements

All candidates interested in undergraduate admission can either apply through UTME or Direct Entry. Each of the modes of entry mentioned has its requirements and they are as follows:-

UTME Requirements

• Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics (compulsory for all courses) and three other subjects related to the chosen course of study. The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
• Candidates must have a valid JAMB UTME score and meet the minimum cut-off mark set by the university.
• Must choose Wellspring University as their first choice (or apply for a change of institution)
• Must meet the subject combination requirements for the chosen course as specified by JAMB
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission

Direct Entry (DE) Requirements

For candidates seeking Direct Entry admission (200 level), the following additional qualifications are required:-

• A-Level passes in relevant subjects
• OND, NCE, HND, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions
• Candidates must also meet the O’Level credit requirements

Wellspring University offers postgraduate programs, including a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master of Science (MSc), and Master of Business Administration (MBA). To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:-

General Admission Requirements

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• The degree must be in a relevant field to the postgraduate program being applied for.
• A minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2) for MSc and MBA programs is required, while Third Class or HND holders may apply for the PGD program.
• All candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Specific Requirements for Each Programme

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• A bachelor’s degree with at least a Third Class OR
• A Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit
• Any other relevant professional qualification may be considered.

Master of Science (MSc)

• A bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) in a related field.
• Candidates with a PGD in a relevant field may also be considered.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• A bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) in any field.
• Candidates with significant managerial experience may be considered even if they have a lower-class degree.
• Applicants with a PGD in Business Administration or related fields can also apply.
