NDA Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025 Academic Session

NDA postgraduate admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session is out and can be accessed via the official NDA postgraduate portal. NDA postgraduate admission form cost N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira Only) and is non-refundable.

The Nigerian Defence Academy School of Postgraduate Studies invites suitably qualified candidates to submit an application for admission into its various NDA postgraduate programmes (Postgraduate Diploma, Masters degree, and Ph.D.) for the 2024/2025 academic session on a part-time and full-time basis.

Nigerian Defence Academy Postgraduate Admission Requirement

The requirements for the various Postgraduate programmes are as follows:

Postgraduate Diploma

• Candidates applying for the Postgraduate Diploma Programme must possess a Bachelor degree from the Nigcrian Defence Academy or any other recognized University;
• Higher National Diploma (with a minimum of Lower Credit pass), provided the academy matriculation requirement is satisfied.

Master’s Degree

• A candidate seeking admission into the Master’s degree Programme shall be a graduate of the Nigeria Defence Academy or any other recognized University and possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant discipline.
• A candidate with a minimum of GPA not less than 4.0 (on a scale of5) grade at postgraduate diploma from the Academy may also be admitted to Masters Degree programmme or GPA of 3 .50 or 8 grade for a professional Masters Degree programme.

MPhil/PhD Degree Programme

• This programme is available to candidates who score less than CGPA of3.5 (but not below 3.2) on a 5-point scale or an equivalent of60%. The programme is full-time and runs for a minimum of 12 calendar months and a maximum period of 24 months.
• MPhil/PhD candidates arc expected to write and submit a dissertation at the end of the programme. Candidates with satisfactory performance at the end of MPhil programme may be upgraded to PhD.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

• A candidate for PhD degree must possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Honours, Lower Division) and an academic Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum CG PA of 3.50 or B grade in appropriate area of study from Nigerian Defence Academy or any other reorganized university.

How to Apply for NDA Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025

Prospective candidates are to follow the link on the NDA website at www.nda.edu.ng or log on to pg.ndaapplications.net to complete the online application form. To apply for admission, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Register your account

• To begin the process Click here or follow this link https://spgs.nda.edu.ng/register
• Provide your name, email and password
• Check your email inbox and click on the verification link sent to you to activate your account
• Note: You will not be able to proceed until you have verified your email

Step 2: Make your payment

• Login to your application portal by providing the email and password in step 1
• Click on “payments”
• You will be redirected to the payment page where you will make your payment
• Use any of the available payment options “Card” or “Bank Transfer” and complete the payment process
• You will be rediected from the payment page back to the portal
• Click on payment again after you have been redirected and you will see your receipt

Step 3: Update Profile

• Login to your application portal using your email and password
• Click on “Profile”
• Then click on “Bio-data”
• Provide your “Date of Birth”, “Phone Number”, “Gender”, “Marital Status” and upload your “Passport Photograph”
• Click on “Submit Biodata”
• Next, click on “Contact Details”
• Provide your contact address and permanent home address
• Click on “Save Contact Details”
• Next, click on “Update Personal Details”
• Provide your full name, Nationality, State, Local Government, and Home town
• Click on “Save Personal Details”

Step 4: Choose Your Programme

• Click on “Academics”
• Next, click on “Select Programme”
• Select faculty, department, and programme
• Select the appropriate service records (This section is for serving Military Personnel alone), ignore if you are not one.
• Click on “Save Programme Details”

Step 5: Provide Your Academic qualifications

• Click on “Qualifications”
• Next, click on “School”
• Provide “Certificate Type”, “Awarding Institution”, “Qualification Obtained”, “Class”, and “Year Obtained”
• Click on “Save”
• Follow the above steps to add all your academic qualifications

Step 6: Provide your professional qualifications

• Click on “Qualifications”
• Next, click on “Professional”
• Provide “Certificate Type”, “Awarding Institution”, “Qualification Obtained”, “Certificate Number (No)”, “Issue Date”, and “Expiry Date”
• Click on “Save”
• Follow the above steps to add all your professional qualifications

Step 11: Submit Your Form

• To submit your form, Click on “Submit Form”
• Follow the instructions to complete the submission process

You cannot make any changes to your application form after you have submitted. You are therefore advised to cross-check your application to correct any wrong details before submission

All applicants must ensure that the transcripts of their academic records reach the Postgraduate School within the stipulated period.

Note: The exam date and time for the Nigerian Defence Academy PG screening test will be communicated to you through the contact details you submitted during registration.
