Tansian University Admission Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Candidates must possess the academic qualifications specified by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) for their chosen course.
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Applicants are required to achieve at least the approved minimum pass mark in the UTME.
- Candidates who did not choose Tansian University as their first choice of institution in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination are also eligible to apply.
O’Level Requirements
- Candidates should have obtained 5 credits at not more than two sittings in WASC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics.
Direct Entry Admission
- There are Direct Entry Admissions for National Certificate in Education (NCE) holders for two-year/three-year degree programs in the Faculty of Education.
Note: Candidates who sat for the UTME but did not indicate Tansian University in any of their choices are still eligible to apply.
How to Apply for Tansian University Admission
- Visit the official Tansian University website to access the application form.
- Fill out the form with accurate personal and academic information.
- Undergraduate applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000.00.
- Postgraduate applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000.00.
- Payments should be made into the following bank account: Bank Name: Keystone Bank Plc, Account Name: Tansian University Management, and Account Number: 1012227706
- Attach the completed application form, proof of payment (bank teller), and copies of relevant academic credentials.
- Submit these documents to the Admissions Office at Tansian University, Umunya (Umunya/Oba Campuses).
- All applicants are required to undergo an admission screening process.
- The date and details of the screening will be communicated to applicants after the submission of their application forms.
