Obong University Admission Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for admission:

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Admission

  • Obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, in not more than two sittings.
  • Achieve an acceptable score in the UTME, meeting or exceeding the university’s cut-off mark.

Direct Entry Admission

  • In addition to the five (5) credit passes in SSCE, candidates should have at least two (2) Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects, or possess a National Certificate in Education (NCE), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND) with credit/merit passes, or a good first degree in a related field.
