Eligibility Requirements for NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent in other grading systems.
- Candidates must have at least six O-level credits obtained in a single sitting.
NNPC/Chevron Scholarship for Blind/Visually Impaired Second-Year Students
The NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture is extending its support to blind and visually impaired students who are in their second year (200 Level) of study at Nigerian universities. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students pursuing any course, ensuring that their educational journey is free from financial constraints.
Eligibility Criteria for Visually Impaired Students
To qualify for this specialized scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:-
- Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent in other grading systems.
- Have obtained at least five credits in O-level subjects.
Required Documents for NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Application
Before beginning your application for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship, make sure you have clear, scanned copies of the following documents:-
- A recent passport photograph (not older than 6 months), 450px by 450px, and not exceeding 200 KB.
- School ID card.
- An admission letter from your university.
- Birth certificate.
- O’ Level result.
- JAMB result.
- Local Government Area letter of identification.
Step-by-Step Application Process NNPC/Chevron Scholarship 2025
To apply for the scholarship, follow these simple steps:-
- Visit https://candidate.scholastica.ng and click on the “Apply Now” tab.
- Select “Register Now” to create an account.
- Go to your email inbox to activate your account.
- Visit the scholarship site again at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/2024CNLawards.
- Log in using your registered email and password to start uploading your information.
- Fill in your details, National Identification Number (NIN), educational background, and other required information. Also, upload the necessary scanned documents.
- After uploading your documents, carefully review each one to ensure there are no errors.
- When prompted, upload a passport-sized photograph with a white background.
- Return to the “Active Scholarships” section, click on the scholarship you wish to apply for, and click “Apply Now” to submit your application.
- You will receive a confirmation notification on the screen and via email once your application is successfully submitted. To verify, check the “My application” section in your profile.
- Go back to www.scholastica.ng, log in with your email and password to download your profile.
- Have your Head of Department sign your profile.
- Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, as it will be used for verification.
- If you didn’t provide your National Identification Number (NIN) in step 6, you can obtain it by visiting http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register. Follow the steps to create an account, schedule a capture date, and visit one of the 37 capture centers to complete the process.
- Once you have your NIN, return to www.scholastica.ng and update your application to include your NIN to ensure it’s completed.
Please note that submitting multiple applications for the NNPC/Chevron Scholarship will result in disqualification from the scholarship program. Ensure that you apply only once to avoid any issues with your application.
