Eligibility Criteria for the FUTIA Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

If you are interested in studying at the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA), here are the requirements that make you eligible to apply for the screening exercise:-

First, your UTME score must be 160 or above. This is the minimum requirement for all applicants.
Also, you must have selected FUTIA as your First Choice during your JAMB registration. However, if you didn’t originally choose FUTIA as your first choice but still scored 160 or higher, you’re not left out. You can still apply, but there’s one important step: you must log in to the JAMB CAPS portal and officially change your First-choice institution to FUTIA before proceeding with your application.
In addition to your UTME score, you also need to meet the O’Level requirements. This means you must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Acceptable results include WAEC, NECO, and other recognized equivalent examinations.

How To Apply For Federal University of Technology Ikot Abasi Post-UTME Form 2024/2025

To apply for the Post-UTME screening at the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA), simply follow these steps:-

Visit the official FUTIA portal at http://portal.futia.edu.ng.
Once the homepage opens, click on the button that says “Click here to apply”.
From the top menu, select “Undergraduate” to begin your application process.
On the next page, enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided and tap “Continue” to proceed.
Fill in your basic details, including a working phone number and a valid email address. Make sure the information is accurate, then click Next.
You will be taken to a payment summary page. There, click on “Make Payment” to proceed to the secure payment platform.
Provide your ATM card details (Visa, MasterCard, or Verve) to pay the application fee. Ensure all information is correct.
You’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your phone. Enter the OTP to confirm and complete your payment.
Once the payment goes through, return to the main login page on the portal. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number and use your Surname as the password.
After logging in, complete the rest of the registration form as required.
