How To Calculate UNILAG Aggregate Score

Add up the grades for your five relevant O’Level subjects.

Each grade has a specific point:-

  • A1 = 4 points
  • B2 = 3.6 points
  • B3 = 3.2 points
  • C4 = 2.8 points
  • C5 = 2.4 points
  • C6 = 2.0 points

For example, if a student has five A1 grades, the O’Level point will be 4×5=204 \times 5 = 204×5=20.

Add Your Post-UTME Score

  • Your post-UTME score is over 30 and contributes directly to the aggregate score.
  • If you score 20/30 in the Post-UTME, your Post-UTME points will be 20.

Calculate Your JAMB Points

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8.
  • For example, if your JAMB score is 280
    280÷8=35 = 35

Add All Points Together

Combine your O’Level points, Post-UTME score, and JAMB points.

Using the example above:-

  • O’Level Points = 20
  • Post-UTME Score = 20
  • JAMB Points = 35
  • Aggregate Score = 20+20+35=75%

Once you calculate your aggregate score, check if it meets the required cut-off mark for your chosen department. This simple formula helps you figure out your chances of securing admission to UNILAG. Give it a try and know where you stand.
