• Candidates must have five (5) credits in subjects relevant to their program, including English Language and Mathematics, from the SSCE (WAEC/NECO/GCE), NABTEB, or their equivalent. These credits should be obtained at no more than two sittings.
• All candidates must provide their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or exemption letter to be eligible for postgraduate admission.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• A First Degree with at least a Third Class honors in a relevant field.
• An HND (Higher National Diploma) in a relevant field.
• Any relevant professional qualification.

Master’s Degree Programmes (M.Eng, M.Sc., MA, MPA, MBA)

• A Second Class Honors (Lower Division) degree from a recognized university.
• Candidates who have a Postgraduate Diploma with a credit level in a relevant field.
• Any relevant professional qualification that is considered equivalent to the above.

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.)

• A Master’s degree with a weighted average score of at least 50% (CGPA of 3.0 on a 5-point scale).

PhD Programme

• A Master’s degree with a weighted average score of at least 60% (CGPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale).
• Candidates with less than 60% (but at least 55% or a CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale) may be considered, but they could be required to register for the M.Phil/Ph.D. program first. Additional courses may also be prescribed to fill any academic gaps.
• Research Proposal: PhD applicants must submit a concept note or research proposal (up to 450 words) along with their application form.
