In fact, 70% of SSCE students believe there is no need to apply for admission or register for JAMB with awaiting results as you stand to be disqualified.

But that is not true. If you are awaiting the release of your O’level results, you will be allowed to indicate that you are still awaiting the release of your O’level results when registering for JAMB or applying for any school’s Post UTME Form.

Can I Get Admission With Awaiting Results?

What you need to know is that there is nothing wrong with seeking admission or registering for JAMB this year using awaiting results. You will be given the same consideration as those who uploaded their results during registration. If not, then such an option would not have been made available in the first place.

You can write the JAMB UTME examination while awaiting your O’level results, but when it comes to the Post UTME screening exercise, not all schools admit students with awaiting results.

Therefore, to enable your school of choice to determine whether you are qualified for admission or not, you will be given a time frame to upload your O’level result once the results are available before the admission process for that particular year ends.

This means that you need to upload your results before the deadline given by your school of choice or before the conclusion of the admission exercise.

It is only when you fail to provide your results within the time frame given by the school you applied for admission that you will be disqualified or not considered for admission.

How to Upload Your O’level Results on JAMB Portal

Follow the steps below to upload your awaiting results once there are available:

• Visit the JAMB CAPS portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
• Enter your JAMB registration number or email address and password
• Navigate to “Upload Result” on the dashboard
• Select the year you took your O’Level exams
• Select your O’Level exam type (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Enter your O’Level exam registration number.
• Upload a scanned copy of your original O’Level result in JPEG or PNG format (file size not exceeding 50KB).
• Pay a processing fee of N500 using your ATM card or other online payment options
• Review your information
• Upload
