  • Additionally, candidates must meet the required cut-off mark of at least 200, though some courses may require higher scores.
  • All candidates are also expected to have credit passes in at least five O’level subjects, including Mathematics and English. These credits should be obtained in two sittings or less. For courses such as Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, and others with high competition, all credits must be earned in a single sitting.
  •  Finally, candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission application.

Direct Entry Requirements

If you already have a diploma or first degree and you want to start an undergraduate program at UNIBEN, these are the requirements you must meet:-

  • Candidates applying for Direct Entry admission must have a minimum of five credit passes in relevant O’level subjects, including Mathematics and English, with no more than two sittings.
  • Additionally, candidates must have completed an acceptable Higher National Diploma (HND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or a relevant degree from a recognized institutions.
  • For most courses, candidates are required to possess qualifications such as HND, NCE, IJMB, or A-level. These qualifications demonstrate advanced knowledge and readiness for university-level study.
  • Furthermore, candidates must register and apply through JAMB’s Direct Entry portal. This step is essential for gaining admission into their chosen programs at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).

These are the steps you are to follow to apply for the UNIBEN post-UTME Form 2024/2025

  • To begin your application process at UNIBEN, visit www.uniben.edu and click on the WAEUP Student Portal.
  • Next, click on “Register for Application” located at the top left of the page.
  • Enter your Surname exactly as it appears on your JAMB Registration Slip, along with your JAMB Registration Number. Your unique ID and password will then be displayed on the browser.
  • On the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal, click on ‘Login’ at the top right corner of the page.
  • Enter your Username and Password to access your account.
  • To proceed with your application, click on ‘Application Record’ and provide all necessary information.
  • To make the application payment, select “Add Online Payment Ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay via Remita” at the top left corner.
  • Follow the instructions to pay the application fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) using a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any commercial bank in Nigeria.
  • Before submitting your application online, carefully preview and confirm all the provided information. Please note that no corrections will be accepted after the closing date.
