Apply for FUTA Diploma and Certificate Program Admission 2025
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially released the admission form for its Diploma and Certificate programmes for the 2025 academic year. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the official application portal and apply before the deadline.
The cost of the application form for the FUTA Diploma/Certificate programs varies: candidates applying for diploma courses and professional certificates will pay a fee of ₦10,000, while those applying for computer certificate courses will pay ₦5,000. Please note that these fees are exclusive of bank charges.

How to Apply for FUTA Diploma/Certificate Admission 2025
Applying to any of the available programs at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is easy if you follow the steps below.
- Visit cceportal.futa.edu.ng.
- Begin by clicking on “Create Account Here” on the application portal. Make sure to select Short Term Courses / Certificate Programmes (STCCP) as your programme category. Fill in all required details to successfully set up your account.
- After creating your account, use your Username and Password to log in and access the application dashboard.
- Once logged in, click on “Payment” to generate your invoice. The invoice will show a Transaction ID or Order Number. From there, you will also get a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number, which you’ll use to make your payment at the bank or online.
- If you are applying for Diploma or Professional Certificate courses, you’ll need to pay ₦10,000 (excluding bank charges).
- If you are applying for Computer Certificate Courses, the fee is ₦5,000 (excluding bank charges).
Payments should be made through any bank using the Remita platform. - After you have made your payment, go back to the portal and log in to confirm your payment. Once confirmed, you can go ahead and fill out the rest of the application form online.
- When you have completed the form, click submit, and don’t forget to print out a copy of your application slip. This will serve as your reference for future communication with the school.
All candidates must ensure that they submit their applications before the expiration of the application window. Those who submit late will not be considered for admission.
