Eligibility Criteria For FUTA PG Admission Form 2024/2025

If you are not qualified, do not purchase the Federal University of Technology Akure postgraduate form as you may not be included in the FUTA Postgraduate Admission List 2024/2025. Here are the requirements you are to meet:-

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, applicants may have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit grade or an equivalent qualification in the related field.
• For the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science specifically, professional qualifications like ACA, AIB, ACCA, ACIS, or their equivalents are accepted.

Master’s Programs (M. Agric. Tech./M. Eng./M. Tech.)

• Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division from The Federal University of Technology, Akure, in a relevant area of study.
• Those with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field are also eligible.
• Candidates with a Higher National Diploma at a Lower Credit level must have completed a Postgraduate Diploma (with at least an Upper Credit grade) in the relevant discipline.

Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.)

• To be considered for the M. Phil. program in an advertised discipline, applicants need to have a solid Master of Technology (M. Tech.) degree or its equivalent in the relevant field.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

• Candidates should possess a master’s degree in the relevant discipline, achieving a CGPA of 3.50 or a minimum average score of 60%.
• Any other qualification approved by the University Senate may also be considered.

How To Apply For FUTA Postgraduate Admission 2024/2025

If you have confirmed that you qualify, follow the simple steps below to pay your application fee and apply for PG studies at FUTA:-

• On the portal’s main page, click the link for “Application Payment.”
• Fill out the required fields and click “Get Payment Invoice” to generate and download your RRR invoice.
• To make your payment, you have two options.
• For online payment, go to www.remita.net, select “Bills and Purchases,” and choose “Pay RRR Invoice.”
• Enter the RRR code from your invoice and click “Continue” to complete the payment.
• For bank payment, visit any bank and use the Remita platform to make your payment with the RRR code.
• Once payment is made, return to the PG Portal and select “Payment Verification” to confirm your payment.
• After verifying your payment, create your login details to proceed with filling out the application form.
• Complete the form by providing all required information and uploading the necessary documents, including your Notification of Result or Certificate.
• Review your application to ensure all details are correct, then click don’t the “Close Application” tab to submit.
