What to Do If You Have Been Admitted
If your name appears on the admission list, then congratulations are in order! You have been offered admission into the Lagos State University School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) for the 2024/2025 academic session. This means you are now eligible to download your official admission letter directly from the school portal.
After downloading your admission letter, the next step is to make the necessary payments. LASU has made it clear that failure to pay these fees within the stipulated time will lead to the forfeiture of your admission offer.
As an admitted candidate, you are required to pay the following fees without delay:-
- Acceptance Fee
- Medical Fee
- Admission Clearance (LACACA) Fee
Make sure you complete this process within the two-week deadline from the date of the admission list release. Any delay might cost you your slot, so it’s best to act fast.
Didn’t Make the Main List? You Still Have a Chance
Not everyone will make the main SPTS list, but LASU has provided a second option. If you were not selected for SPTS, you may be offered admission into the Lagos State University Open and Distance Learning and Research Institute (ODLRI). If this option is available to you, you will also be prompted to:-
- Download your ODLRI Admission Letter
- Pay your acceptance fee
- Pay the medical fee
- Admission Clearance (LACACA) Fee
Deadline for Acceptance of Admission
All admitted candidates, both for the School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) and the Open and Distance Learning and Research Institute (ODLRI), are expected to take action within two (2) weeks from the date the admission list was released.
During this period, you are required to accept your admission offer, download your admission letter, and make all necessary payments. These steps must be completed as soon as possible to secure your place.
If you fail to meet the deadline, the university will assume that you are no longer interested, and your admission will be withdrawn. Once this happens, your slot may be given to another candidate. To avoid losing your chance, make sure you follow the instructions and complete everything within the given timeframe.
