AKSU Admission Requirements 2025/2026

The requirements you need to meet to qualify for AKSU admission depend on the mode of entry you choose. Below is a list of requirements for Direct Entry and UTME applicants, ensure you meet them before you apply for admission:-

For UTME Candidates

  • All candidates must ensure they choose AKSU as their first choice institution when applying for the JAMB examinations.
  • Candidates must score at least 140 or above in the JAMB UTME examination to be eligible.
  • Candidates must obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes in their O’elevel subjects including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  • Applicants must ensure that their UTME subject combination aligns with the chosen course requirements at AKSU.
  • Candidates must participate in the AKSU Post-UTME screening exercise and meet the required cut-off mark for their course of choice.
  • General Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates
  • Candidates must be 16 years old or older when applying for admission.

Direct Entry Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in their O’level certificate. The credits must include English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
  • A minimum of Upper Credit in a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or NCE in a related field.
  • Candidates with at least two (2) A-level passes in relevant subjects can also apply.
  • Direct Entry candidates must also undergo the post-UTME screening exercise.
