Yes! If you applied for UNIUYO Post-UTME Screening, you can now check and confirm if you have been admitted to study your dream course at UNIUYO. It is recommended that you check the University of Uyo Admission list and confirm your admission status as soon as possible so you can have time to follow due process before it is too late.

As we stated in the previous section, you can check the admission status in two ways; through JAMB CAPS or via the UNIUYO Admission portal You can use any of these methods to check your name in minutes.

Once you have confirmed your name on the UNIUYO Merit Admission List, your next cue is to accept the admission and pay your acceptance fee to accept the admission. How To Check Your Admission Status Via UNIUYO Portal

• Go to https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals.
• Click on the “Admission Status” link.
• Input your registration number in the provided field.
• Select the “Check Status” button.
• A message will appear indicating your admission status.
• Print the Admission Status Notification for your records.

How To Check UNIUYO Admission List via JAMB CAPS

• Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
• Sign in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.
• Scroll down and find the option labeled ‘Check Admission Status’, then click on it.
• Next, select ‘Admission Status’ to proceed.
• Choose either ‘Check Admission Status’ or ‘Access My CAPS’ to view your details.
• If you are using a mobile device, tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of your browser and enable ‘Desktop Site’ for better functionality.
• After clicking on ‘Admission Status’, you will see one of the following messages:-
  • Admission in Progress – Check Back Later
  • Not Admitted
  • Congratulations!

If you have been admitted, remember to click on “Accept” to indicate that you are interested in the admission. Once you have confirmed your interest in the admission offered, you will be prompted to pay the UNIUYO Acceptance fee, do that as soon as possible.

If you see anything other than “Congratulations”, we recommend that you exercise patience and check the portal regularly because your status may change to “Admitted” at any moment.

UNIUYO Acceptance Fee and Payment Procedure 2024/2025

All newly admitted students are to pay an acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) as their acceptance fee. This will indicate to the school management that you are ready for studies at the prestigious University of Uyo. Here are the steps you can follow to pay your UNIUYO Acceptance fee for 2024/2025.

• Start by accessing the official UNIUYO e-portal.
• After logging in, locate and select the option labeled “Pay Registration Fee.”
• You will need to input your JAMB registration number to link the payment to your admission profile.
• Click on the “Pay Registration” button to continue to the Remita platform, which provides a secure method for processing payments online.
• Follow the steps provided on the Remita platform to complete your payment successfully.
• Once the payment is confirmed, click on the “Print e-receipt/Invoice” option to generate and print your e-receipt. This will serve as evidence of your transaction.
