University of Africa Toru Orua Admission Requirements

At the University of Africa, Toru-Orua (UAT), there are two main modes of entry: UTME and Direct Entry. The UTME mode is for candidates who have completed their secondary education and passed the JAMB exam, applying for 100-level programs. Direct Entry is for candidates with higher qualifications, such as an ND, HND, or A-Level, allowing them to enter at the 200-level. UTME Admission Requirements

All candidates must ensure they select UAT as their first choice of institution during JAMB registration. Those who did not will be required to apply for a change of institution through JAMB.
Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
Candidates must sit for the JAMB UTME exam and achieve a minimum score that meets UAT’s cutoff mark.
Candidates must have the correct subject combination for their intended course, as specified by UAT.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the year of admission.

Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and other course-specific subjects obtained in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or A-Level certificates from recognized institutions. The specific qualification needed depends on the course they are applying for.
Although Direct Entry candidates don’t need to sit for the UTME, they must register and apply through JAMB Direct Entry.
