Summit University Undergraduate Admission Requirements 

As with all universities, all candidates interested in admission to study at Summit University, Offa are expected to meet the admission requirements, and only those who qualify are usually admitted:-

UTME Candidates Requirements

1. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
2. Candidates must have sat for the UTME and obtained the cut-off mark of 150 and above.
3. Candidates must select Summit University, Offa as their first choice or apply for a change of institution.
4. Candidates must participate in the post-UTME screening conducted by the university.
5. Candidates must combine the right JAMB subjects for their preferred course.
6. All applicants must be at least 16 years old when applying.

Direct Entry Candidates Requirements

1. Candidates must have at least two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
2. Candidates with OND, HND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions may be considered for admission into the 200 level.
3. Candidates must also have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
4. Candidates must obtain the Direct Entry (DE) form from JAMB and select Summit University, Offa as their preferred institution.

Summit University Postgraduate Admission Requirements 

All candidates who want to advance their educational qualifications at Summit University, Offa, must meet the admission requirements based on the program they are applying for. Below are the general and program-specific requirements for admission:-

General Requirements

1. Candidates must have five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.
2. Candidates must have obtained their previous degrees from Summit University or any recognized institution.
3. Candidates must provide academic transcripts from their previous institutions.
4. Candidates must meet the minimum CGPA requirements for their chosen program.

1. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
2. Candidates with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5.00 scale may also be considered.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) 

1. Candidates must have a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale or equivalent in a relevant field from a recognized university.
2. Candidates must submit a detailed research proposal in their area of interest.
3. Candidates may be required to undergo an oral interview or screening before final admission.
