Nnamdi Azikiwe University Admission Requirements 2025/2026
Before we proceed, it is important to note that there are two main modes of entry for UNIZIK Admission. These modes are the UTME mode and the direct entry mode. Candidates studying via the UTME mode need to write JAMB while Direct Entry candidates are required to submit diplomas for a course related to the one they are applying to study. Nnamdi Azikiwe University Admission Requirements For UTME Candidates
- All applicants must ensure that they choose UNIZIK as their first choice of preferred institution. Candidates who did not can still apply if they apply for a change of institution from JAMB.
- You are expected to score at least 180 in the JAMB Examination. Note that the required JAMB score for Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, and Engineering exceeds 200, so ensure that you achieve the required score.
- You must have an O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or GCE) with a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings. If you want to study medicine, you need to have your credits in a single sitting.
- You must not be younger than 16 at the time of applying for admission.
If you qualify, await the release of the UNIZIK Post-UTME Form and apply for admission.
UNIZIK Direct Entry Requirements
If you prefer to apply for direct entry admission into UNIZIK, these are the requirements you are expected to meet to qualify for admission:-
- Candidates must have previous academic qualifications such as OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.
- Just like the UTME candidates, direct entry candidates are required to have credit passes in five O’level subjects including Mathematics and English Language. This must be obtained in not more than two sittings. If you are gunning for Medicine and other professional courses, these must be achieved in a single sitting.
- You must purchase the UNIZIK Direct Entry Form and apply for admission when it is out.
