Kaduna State University Matriculation Ceremony 2025/2026

Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially announced the timetable for its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, PhD (Emporia, USA), MLA (ABU), MBA (BUK), BL (BUK), has invited members of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, students, and the general public to attend this important academic event.

The ceremony, themed “Marching to Excellence: Embracing Emerging Technologies, Upskilling/Reskilling”, is being organised by the Office of the Registrar.   • Venue: 1000-Seat Auditorium, Main Campus

This ceremony will host all undergraduate and postgraduate students admitted to the Main Campus. Students are expected to arrive early to allow for proper seating and organisation, as the event will begin promptly.

Kafanchan Campus

  • Date: Wednesday, 11 February 2026
  • Time: 11:00 a.m.
  • Venue: 500-Seat Auditorium, Kafanchan Campus

All newly admitted students at the Kafanchan Campus are required to attend, and punctuality is strongly emphasised to ensure a smooth and orderly ceremony.

Academic Gown Collection for Matriculating Students

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students are advised to contact their respective colleges and faculties to collect their academic gowns. Make sure to collect your gown well in advance to avoid delays on the day of the ceremony.

For Postgraduate Students

Postgraduate students are to obtain their academic gowns from Room 7, College of Postgraduate Studies, Main Campus, Kaduna. As with undergraduates, it is important to pick up your gown early to ensure you are fully prepared for the ceremony.
