Federal University of Health Sciences Otukpo Admission Requirements
All those interested in applying for admission at FUHSO must ensure that they meet the requirements below based on the mode of entry they want to use. Candidates who do not qualify will not be considered for admission, so endeavor to meet the requirements.
UTME (JAMB) Admission Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 180 (except for Medicine and Surgery, which requires 240 and above).
- Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. The required O’Level subjects must include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for science-related courses.
- Candidates must choose FUHSO as their first-choice institution in JAMB. Candidates who did not initially select FUHSO as their first choice but wish to apply must process a change of institution through JAMB and meet all other requirements.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.
Direct Entry (DE) Admission Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least two (2) A-Level passes in relevant subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- ND, HND, or B.Sc. holders in relevant disciplines with a minimum of Upper Credit may be considered for Direct Entry admission.
- Candidates with an NCE (with a minimum of Merit) in relevant science courses may also apply.
- Direct Entry candidates must also have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
