Requirements for Federal University Gusau Admission 2024/2025

After you have confirmed that the course you want to apply for is available, the next step is to find out if you meet the requirements set for the program you are interested in. There are two modes of entry, if you are applying through UTME, ensure you meet the requirements that apply to that mode of entry and if you are applying through direct entry, also ensure you meet the DE requirements. Here are the requirements you must meet to be eligible:-

• Candidates must secure at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE O’Level, including Mathematics and English Language, within a maximum of two (2) sittings.
• Applicants must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination for their desired course of study.
• A minimum score of 180 in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is mandatory.
• Federal University Gusau must be chosen as the first-choice institution during JAMB registration.
• Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry candidates should possess:-

• ‘A’ level or IJMB passes in two relevant subjects for their chosen course.
• A First Class or Second Class Upper Degree in a related discipline.
