Admission Requirements For ESUT Admission 2024/2025
The admission requirements for Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) for the 2024/2025 academic session depend on the program and level of entry. Below are the general admission requirements:-
UTME Admission Requirements
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen course (200 for highly competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Nursing; 160 for other programs).
- Applicants must ensure their UTME subject combination aligns with the course they are applying for.
- Candidates must participate in the ESUT Post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.
Direct Entry (DE)
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must have at least two A’Level passes in relevant subjects or an equivalent qualification such as a minimum of Lower Credit in OND/HND, a Merit pass in NCE, or a good score in JUPEB or IJMB examinations.
- Candidates must apply through JAMB Direct Entry and select ESUT as their preferred institution.
