The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has released the cut-off marks for the 2024/2025 admission process. A cut-off mark is the minimum UTME score required for candidates to be considered for admission into their chosen programs. 

For this academic session, the general cut-off mark Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is 160 and above. Meaning candidates who score at least 160 in UTME are eligible to apply for most courses. However, some highly competitive courses require a higher score. Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Pharmacy require a minimum UTME score of 200.

Admission Requirements For ESUT Admission 2024/2025

The admission requirements for Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) for the 2024/2025 academic session depend on the program and level of entry. Below are the general admission requirements:-

UTME Admission Requirements

  1. Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  2. Candidates must meet the required cut-off mark for their chosen course (200 for highly competitive courses like Medicine, Law, and Nursing; 160 for other programs).
  3. Applicants must ensure their UTME subject combination aligns with the course they are applying for.
  4. Candidates must participate in the ESUT Post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.
  5. Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.

Direct Entry (DE) 

  1. Must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  2. Candidates must have at least two A’Level passes in relevant subjects or an equivalent qualification such as a minimum of Lower Credit in OND/HND, a Merit pass in NCE, or a good score in JUPEB or IJMB examinations.
  3. Candidates must apply through JAMB Direct Entry and select ESUT as their preferred institution.

Candidates who meet these requirements will be automatically eligible for admission, so they are encouraged to apply as soon as the form is released.
