National Diploma (ND) Admission Requirements

• Candidates must have chosen Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara as their first choice during JAMB registration. Those who did not initially select the polytechnic can apply for a change of institution.
• Candidates must have a minimum JAMB score of 100 and above.
• Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent.
• Candidates must have participated in the post-UTME screening conducted by the polytechnic.
• Those applying for competitive courses such as Engineering, Science Laboratory Technology, and Mass Communication should aim for higher scores as these departments may require a higher cut-off mark.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirements

For admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) program, applicants must:-

• Possess a National Diploma (ND) certificate from a recognized polytechnic with at least a Lower Credit in a relevant field.
• Have a minimum of one year of post-ND industrial training (IT) experience. Candidates with a Pass grade in ND must have at least two years of work experience.
• Provide academic transcripts and reference letters from their previous institution.
• Have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.
• Complete the online application form and participate in the HND screening exercise conducted by the polytechnic.
