UNIMAID Admission Requirements 2024/2025

If you are planning to apply to the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), it’s essential to know the specific admission requirements for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants to be eligible for your desired course of study. You must first ensure that you meet the cut-off marks for admission into UNIMAID and after confirming that, check below and meet the requirements that  apply to your mode of entry:-

UTME Applicants:-

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years old by November 2024.
  • A minimum score of 180 is required in the UTME.
  • Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings.
  • Ensure that the UTME subjects taken align with the course requirements.
  • It is mandatory to upload your O’Level results on the JAMB portal before applying.

Direct Entry (DE) Applicants:-

  • You must have at least one of the following qualifications: A-level results, IJMB, ND, HND, or a First Degree.
  • A-level results must be uploaded and verified on the JAMB portal.
  • 5 credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Ensure that the subjects and qualifications align with the specific course requirements you are applying for.
  • Applicants with JUPEB or NABTEB ‘A’ Level credentials are not required to apply through DE.
