All suitably qualified candidates who are interested in studying any of the approved part-time undergraduate programmes are invited to purchase the form and apply for admission. The application is open to candidates applying through SSCE O’Level (Non-UTME), UTME, and Direct Entry.

How Much Is the BUK Part-Time Admission Form?
The total cost of applying for the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Part-Time Degree Programme involves two separate payments. Applicants are first required to pay ₦3,500 for the JAMB Part-Time application form, which must be obtained through the JAMB online application platform.
After completing the JAMB registration, candidates must then pay an additional ₦5,000, which is the BUK application processing fee and is non-refundable. O’Level / UTME Entry Requirements
Applicants applying through O’Level or UTME must meet the following conditions:-
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects
- English Language must be included among the credited subjects
- O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings
- Acceptable O’Level examinations include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or other approved equivalents.
- UTME candidates must possess a valid JAMB Part-Time Registration Number.
Direct Entry Requirements (200 Level)
Candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry into 200 Level must meet the following requirements:-
- Possession of recognised’ A-Level qualifications, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or other approved diploma certificates in relevant fields
- Possession of appropriate O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and other subjects related to the chosen course
- Holders of NBAIS certificates are eligible to apply only for the B.A. Arabic and B.A. Islamic Studies.
Special Requirement for B.N.Sc. Nursing Science
Applicants applying for B.N.Sc. Nursing Science (Direct Entry only) must meet the following conditions:-
- Possession of a recognised Nursing Diploma or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of seven (7) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Fulfilment of all professional and academic requirements as specified by the university.

- Select Bayero University, Kano (BUK) and complete the registration.
- Pay the ₦3,500 JAMB Part-Time application fee and print the slip containing your JAMB Part-Time Application Number.
- Visit the BUK Part-Time Application Portal at www.buk.edu.ng
- Create an account using your personal details and chosen programme.
- Log in and complete the application form.
- Generate the BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).
- Pay the ₦5,000 application processing fee via the Remita e-payment platform.
- Confirm payment using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Enter your UTME or Direct Entry number.
