Bayero University Part-Time Degree Admission Form 2024/2025

The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) is pleased to announce that the application portal for Part-Time Degree programs under the School of Continuing Education (SCE) is now open for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates are eligible to apply for Bayero University Part-Time Degree Admission. These programs are structured to offer flexibility, with lectures held in the evenings and on weekends, allowing students to pursue their degrees while managing jobs and other commitments.

Eligibility Requirements For Bayero University Part-Time Degree Admission 2024/2025

Ensure you meet the requirements that align with your chosen mode of entry. Remember, only qualified candidates will find their names on the admission list.

For UTME Candidates

You must have at least five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language, in not more than two sittings.
Your UTME score must be at least 180, and you must have selected Bayero University, Kano as your first choice.
If you are applying for Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Economics Education, or Health Education, you must also have an O’ Level credit in Mathematics.
If you have an NBAIS certificate, you can only apply for a B.A. Arabic or B.A. Islamic Studies.

For Direct Entry Candidates

You must have a recognized Advanced Level qualification that matches your chosen program. This includes ND, NCE, IJMB (with at least 6 points), Nursing Certificate, Health Education Diploma, Community Health Diploma, Environmental Health Diploma, GCE A’ Level, or any equivalent qualification.
You need at least five (5) O’ Level credits, including English Language.
You must be at least 25 years old when applying.
If you are applying for Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Economics Education, you must have an O’ Level credit in Mathematics.
If you want to study Nursing Science or Health Education, you must have credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
If you are applying for Public Administration, you must have a credit in Government or History.

Application Procedure For Bayero University Part-Time Degree Admission Form 2024/2025

Below are the correct steps to follow to ensure a smooth application process:-

Visit the BUK website and click on the Part-Time Degree Application link.
Click on the Register tab and fill in your details, including your full name, program of study, email, phone number, mode of entry (Direct Entry or UTME), and password.
Click Create Account—a username will be generated for you. Make sure to save your username and password, as you’ll need them later.
Go back to the Login page and sign in with your username and password.
Fill in all the required sections, including:-

Employment Information (if applicable)

Generate your BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF), which contains details for making payments through Remita.
Pay the application fee via the Remita e-Payments platform (www.remita.net) and obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
After payment, log back into your account and click on “Check Payment Status” to confirm your payment.
Enter your UTME/Direct Entry number, as this is required to complete your application.
Once your payment is verified, print your acknowledgment/application form. Only those who print their forms will be considered for admission. Keep the form safe—it will be required for admission processing and registration.
