Admission Requirements For Gombe State University 2025/2026

Apart from the cut-off marks for admission, these are the extra requirements you need to meet to prove that you are the ideal candidate for Gombe State undergraduate admission:-

UTME Candidates

• All interested candidates must choose Gombe State University as their first choice institution during UTME registration. Those who still want to apply for admission even if they did not choose Gombe State University as their first choice institution must ensure that they apply for a change of institution through JAMB before applying.

• Candidates must ensure that they score at least 150 in the UTME examination. You can refer to the table above for the exact cut-off mark you are expected to meet.
• Candidates must ensure they possess at least five (5) O’level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in at least two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
• Candidates must ensure that they are 16 years or older when applying for admission.

Direct Entry Candidates

• Candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND), Merit in NCE, or at least two (2) Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects.
• Obtain the GSU Direct Entry form and ensure their credentials meet the course requirements.

Candidates in both categories must ensure that they meet the requirements outlined for their mode of study to be qualified for admission. When the Gombe State University post-UTME Form is released, you can apply for the form if you have verified that you are qualified for admission.
