Seat Reservation: To ensure a smooth and well-organized event, all graduating students are required to reserve their seats for the convocation ceremonies scheduled for January 14 and 15, 2025. This reservation must be completed through the UNILAG Convocation Access Portal, where students can select their preferred seating arrangements. After successfully reserving a seat, students will need to print their access passes, which serve as admission tickets for the event.

Access pass printing is divided into two phases: Day 1 passes will be available for printing starting January 9, 2025, while Day 2 passes can be printed from January 10, 2025. These access passes are mandatory for entry into the venue, ensuring that each participant has a designated seat for the respective sessions.

The outfits are available from December 30, 2024, at designated faculties and units upon presentation of payment receipts. All graduates must ensure that they return their academic outfits before February 3, 2025, as late returns will incur a ₦40,000 fee.

Payment Procedure

  • Generate payment advice via the student portal.
  • Use the RRR to make payments through Remita.

Submission of Payment Receipts

Graduates are required to submit their payment receipts to the designated faculty emails. This step ensures proper record-keeping and smooth logistics management for the convocation ceremonies. The payment receipts must be sent to the following faculty email addresses:-

For other faculties, payment receipt submission follows a similar format. It is important for graduates to send these receipts immediately after making payments to avoid any delays in processing their convocation materials.

Certificate Collection

Available immediately after the ceremonies. Late collection penalties apply:-

  • ₦10,000 for the first year.
  • ₦5,000 for every subsequent year.

Alumni Registration Fee

  • First Degree: ₦5,000
  • Postgraduate Degree: ₦7,500
