Niger Delta University Admission Requirements 2025/2026

UTME Requirements

For candidates seeking admission into Niger Delta University (NDU) through JAMB (UTME), the following requirements must be met:-

  • Candidates must have at least 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level, achieved in a maximum of two sittings.
  • Ensure that you select the correct JAMB subject combination as outlined in the JAMB Brochure for your chosen course.
  • A minimum score of 180 in the recent JAMB UTME examination is required for consideration for admission into NDU.
  • Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Direct Entry (DE)

  • Similar to UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants must possess at least 5 credits in the SSCE/GCE Ordinary Level examinations, also achievable in a maximum of two sittings.
  • Candidates must have obtained ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects related to their desired field of study. Other acceptable qualifications include JUPEB/A Level passes or a degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of Merit Pass in National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), and other advanced level certificates is required.
  • Direct Entry candidates must apply through both the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the NDU Portal.
