General Admission Requirements for Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025

Applicants must ensure they meet the following requirements:

For Postgraduate Diploma (PGD, PGDE, PGDL):

Applicants must have a Pass or Third Class degree from a recognized university.
Candidates must have a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related course.

For Master’s Degree (MSc, MA, MEd, etc.):

Applicants need a Second Class (Lower or Upper) degree in a related field.
Or a PGD with at least a credit level in a related field.

For Master of Philosophy (MPhil/PhD):

For candidates with:

An MBA or MPA and a related first degree.
A Master’s degree with less than 3.5 CGPA on a 5.0 scale.

For PhD (Doctorate Degree):

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in a related field with a CGPA of 3.5 or above on a 5.0 scale.

Note: All candidates must have 5 O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Your academic transcripts must be sent directly to the Postgraduate School before admission can be offered.

Program Duration: For PGD and Master’s, the duration is 12 months for full-time and 18 months for part-time, while PhD is 36 months for full-time and 48 months for part-time.

Steps to Apply for Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Postgraduate Admission Form 2024/2025

Follow the steps below to apply for the postgraduate program:

Go to the university website: www.iauoe.edu.ng
Click “Postgraduate School” under the Admissions menu.
On the new page, click “Registration” on the left side.
Fill in your details (name, email, phone number, course of interest) and click Register.
You will receive your login details via email (also shown on screen).
Log in using those details.
Select the 2024/2025 session if not already selected.
Click “Fees” from the menu.
Click “Generate Invoice” for the application fee, then click “Pay Online”.
Do the same for the Brochure Fee.
After payment, access and read the Brochure from the Documents Menu.
Complete all fields in your application form and upload a passport photo and credentials.
Print out your Registration Form and Payment Receipt.
Download your Referee Form and Transcript Label from the documents section.
Use the label to request your transcripts from your previous institution.
