  • Upon completing the payment for the registration fee, you will receive a unique Registration PIN.
  • Navigate to the WAEC registration portal at registration.waecdirect.org and use the PIN provided to begin your registration process.
  • Ensure your NIN is available, as it is a crucial requirement for registration.
  •  If you have any special needs, complete your online registration and specify your impairment type, such as visual impairment, low vision, spasticity, speech difficulties, or hearing issues.
  •  Double-check all personal details, including your full name, gender, passport photograph, date of birth, and chosen subjects.
  • Once finalized, print the Admission Notice, which serves as a confirmation of your registration and includes your Result Checker PIN.

  • All candidates are to choose between the Computer-Based WASSCE (CB-WASSCE) or the traditional Pen-and-Paper examination, depending on their preference.
  • Prepare for the examination by participating in online mock tests. Updates and details regarding the mock exams will be shared via email, SMS, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure that all requirements are fulfilled before payment, as the registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Regularly check the WAEC official website to stay updated on the examination timetable and any changes.
  • Use a Microsoft HD 3000 digital camera to capture your passport photo. The photo should be in JPEG format, either in black-and-white or color, with a resolution of 72 dpi, dimensions of 275×314 pixels, and a size between 7kb and 15kb.
  • Candidates are required to dress in mufti. Wearing professional uniforms in the examination hall is strictly forbidden.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, as well as weapons of any kind, are prohibited in the examination venue.
