UI Admission Requirements

If you are interested in gaining admission into the University of Ibadan (UI), you must meet certain requirements based on your mode of entry; UTME or Direct Entry (D.E.). Below are the key admission requirements:-

UTME Admission Requirements

Must have chosen UI as their first choice during UTME registration.
Must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 200 (or higher, depending on the course).
Must have at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
Must meet the specific subject combination for their chosen course as required by UI and JAMB.
Must participate in the UI Post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.

Direct Entry (D.E.) Admission Requirements

Must have at least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
Must have a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), NCE, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with a good grade.
Must have at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
Must apply for Direct Entry admission through JAMB and submit relevant documents to UI.
