UI Admission Requirements
If you are interested in gaining admission into the University of Ibadan (UI), you must meet certain requirements based on your mode of entry; UTME or Direct Entry (D.E.). Below are the key admission requirements:-
UTME Admission Requirements
- Must have chosen UI as their first choice during UTME registration.
- Must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 200 (or higher, depending on the course).
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- Must meet the specific subject combination for their chosen course as required by UI and JAMB.
- Must participate in the UI Post-UTME screening exercise and obtain a satisfactory score.
Direct Entry (D.E.) Admission Requirements
- Must have at least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- Must have a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), NCE, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with a good grade.
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- Must apply for Direct Entry admission through JAMB and submit relevant documents to UI.
