2024/2025 Lagos State University of Science and Technology Admission Form

Applications are now open at the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu, for qualified candidates seeking admission into its full-time and part-time undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Applicants are advised to take note of the following admission requirements before applying.

LASUSTECH Post UTME Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must attain the required JAMB cut-off mark for Lagos State University of Science and Technology and must have chosen the school as their first choice institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The minimum admission requirements for students applying for admission into Lagos State University of Science and Technology is that they must possess a minimum of FIVE CREDIT passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

The general admission requirements are outlined below:

1. First Choice Institution
   • Candidates who selected LASUSTECH as their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME must have a minimum score of 180.
2. O’ Level Requirements
   • You must possess the required O’Level subjects at credit level in no more than two sittings.
3. Direct Entry Candidates
   • Direct Entry candidates must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from JAMB and selected LASUSTECH as their first choice.
4. State of Origin Verification
   • Only candidates of Lagos State origin, who have successfully verified their claims before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC), will be eligible to participate in the online admission screening exercise.

All applications will be considered based on results equivalents and requirements as provided by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as well as the LASUSTECH admission criteria.

All prospective applicants are advised to follow the guidelines governing the admission process and to seek any needed clarifications. Any candidates who do not participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

How to Apply for LASUSTECH Post UTME Form 2024/2025

Applicants are to proceed to the admission website of the University https://lasustech.edu.ng/apply-now/ to make payment of a fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening exercise using Master/VISA internet Enabled Debit Card (ATM) as well as familiarize themselves with the available programmes in the University and the requirements for O’Level, A’Level and UTME subjects for each of the programmes so indicated.

Applicants are expected to carefully complete and submit the online application forms having uploaded a digital copy of their passport photographs in white background which must be in JPEG and must not be more than 22kb.

To apply for the Post UTME screening exercise, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Access the Admission Portal
   • Start your application by visiting the LASUSTECH admission portal.
2. Pay the Registration Fee
   • A non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 is required for online registration, payable via a Master/VISA internet-activated Debit Card.
3. Complete the Application Form
   • Ensure that you complete and submit the form accurately.
4. Upload a Passport Photograph
   • Upload a clear passport-sized photograph with a white background (JPEG format, size not exceeding 22kb).
5. Ensure Name Consistency
   • Make sure your name is consistent across all registration documents to avoid disqualification.

Any applicant with a blurred picture on the acknowledgement page will not be admitted into the screening center as the photograph will be used as a means of identification. Candidates should note that meeting this requirement is mandatory. For ease of communication, applicants are to provide valid and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers.

Applicants who are awaiting results of WAEC, NECO are NOT eligible to apply. Also, inconsistency in names on O’Level and UTME results shall not be acceptable to the University and may lead to disqualification. Candidates’ names on their O’Level results and other registration documents must be the same.
